Yes, well, perhaps you weren't following the situation when they bought themselves two or three years ago. I suggest going to the SEG thread--either one of them--and read them, if you are really interested. I respect Gus's opinion a great deal. Perhaps they do have that price advantage. I don't know. I do know that they have had problems with their head division in the past. Perhaps they've straightened it out while it was a private company. Like I said in a previous post, when vertical integration works, it's great. When it doesn't work, it's terrible. I know that doesn't sound very helpful, but if you go back to the old DD thread, and search on "vertical" for that thread, you may get a lot of posts (presuming the search engine is working) on the subject, and I think that those two sentences sort sum up the distilled wisdom of the discussion at the end of the day.
