Saw some activity tonight at the local brokerage house, several cars and pickups in the lot after hours, looked like mostly young people.
Near the door was a new white Mercedes with personalized plates MB4ME.
So, yeah, there are some folks who at least made a trading profit off this rally.
Barron's is expecting a little mini-crash, they don't know when. While I agree an adjustment is due, I do get a bit tired of Barron's on this because sometimes they are way, way too early on their calls.

2000 will be a nice milestone. Normally I would say and given the move we have had no one should be surprised it happen, that we would run into a wall at 2000. Big round numbers in the averages are normally a sell point. This time I don't think so. I see a little rest at 2000, then we move forward as investor see that the sept/oct selling period this year will not be like sept/oct in the past. jmho based in what transpired today and how the market moved near the end of the summer.

ps. Look at that sea of green. That's a lot of stocks to be all green at the same time.
