Has anyone ever seen one being used?

You missed my post. Ten lashes with a wet noodle! I was mopeding down Kalakaua in Waikiki a couple of weeks ago when I passed one scuttling along the sidewalk like one of our cockroaches. Absolute disaster, IMO. Too big, too fast. Pedestrians would not put up with them in quantity.

Saw a travel agency ad in the NYT on Sunday with a nice photo of a family riding their Segways past the Eiffel Tower. The Segways were part of the tour package. Fun!

The Berkeley Police were using them to manage the crowds at the football game a couple of weeks ago.
