We the Sheeple are their employees. They are working for us [and of course themselves as part of us].

Which is why I suspect that North Korea isn't as bad as some other countries around the world.

North Korea is as "bad" as Kim Jong Il, and his henchmen, choose to be..

But just as with the former Soviet Union, I suspect that his military intelligence personnel, having lived in the west and seen what they are unable to possess at home, are far more willing to see a N. Korean form of "glasnost"..

But only if they can control it... And the manner in which the USSR broke up, they probably are more than a little hesitant about initiating it.

They are advisors and should not get above their station. They should salute me. I pay their wages. We the Sheeple are their employees.(sic)

Of course, just as police officers are paid by us, to protect your local community. But SOCIETY AS A WHOLE pays the military (intelligence) to do their job, which is to protect the nation from foreign military and political threats. So for you to assert that you don't want them to "rock your boat" and use whatever means are necessary to win the war they are engaged in, violates the rights of those of us who DO want them to do so.

I pay them also, and I EXPECT them to do their job, without regard to partisan politics and "touchy-feely" special interests who inanely opine that the military is a criminal organization...

If the US military had relied upon public consent for every batter we've ever fought in WWI and II, we'd never suceeded in defeating Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan.

We the people ultimately have the power of the purse, should we, AS A WHOLE SOCIETY, disapprove of their actions.
