Kerry refused to vote yes until Bush-Powell PROMISED to go the UN route. When they promised, he gave them the benefit of the doubt. They failed us all in that respect. Kerry was also partially responsible for them going to the UN. Remember that Cheney and the neocons were dead set against it. And now they are back begging for help.
