They WANT people to die. The more the better.

There's some rumors to the effect of wanting to reduce the population of Earth by 80%, attributed to some of the Brits and early writings of people like Prince Charles & his ilk. The idea is an extension of the old eugenics, let the lower classes dimish in population since the 'superior' classes don't breed as fast. Of course these ideas always find their proponents starting with "humane" ways of reducing population, such as birth control, and wandering over into actions such as avoiding humanitarian help in Africa, preferring to support worldwide aggression. The worst sort of rumors concern development of race-specific viral warfare, which can easily become non-specific plagues, etc.

How much truth there is is unclear, but they've been reported a few places, you can google "race-specific biowarfare".

The more immediate fear is that the GOP in general and the Bush crowd in particular have absolutely no regard for human life, except as scripted statements. The record shows Junior saying things in unscripted moments that are difficult to reconcile with the crafted Christian image, such as on a mocking the condemned woman ("Please don't kill me! Haw haw !") and laughing about it on a public radio broadcast when he was governor. I find even more sinister moments such as Bush sitting for 20 minutes in the schoolroom after being told "Sir, America is under attack", like an obedient puppet following the script given to him. Anyone else would say, "Americans are dying? Let's get the hell to the command center! I want Rumsfeld on the phone now!"

Certainly others are less restrained, like "Prince of Darkness" Richard Pearl, who has plenty of documented evil plans, but the more controversial and less verifiable tabloid-like reports come from someone who claims earlier this year he told her, "I can kill anybody I want", or some such drivel. No telling if there's truth to that. But the GOP profiteering policies, in answer to your question, appear to create more death than prevention. They argue otherwise.

The only way to prove the point is get non-terrorist-oriented public servants in office and force disclosure of all the gov't dirty tricks over the past 40 years, and make a tally.
