spek, most of these morons knew. just like patron said, the selfish sobs want to privatize their benefits and socialize their liabilities. it makes NO SENSE to allow these folks to get a benefit from options and then make it tax deferred for potentially eternity. NONE! it should properly be considered income just as it is. after all, the companies get the tax break when they give them, not when they are sold! it is amazing that these folks weren't weeded out, ala darwin, a long time ago.
