The Washington Post and New York Times are known to lack journalistic integrity. I do not recognize those as authorities. I hope you don't consider that list exclusive. The LA Times and Boston Globe (owned by the NY Times) come to mind. Moreover, the Associated Press is a leftist "news" (ha, ha) consortium subscribed to for publication by many daily papers. My elderly father was an AP writer decades ago, and to this day cringes when reading its propaganda.
