With the skill of a previous pres. like Clinton, or even Bush I that would have been an incredible oppty for an unprecedented strong worldwide alliance, militarily and economically. That's what leads me to believe when James Baker broke tradition and publicly criticized the idea of an Iraq invasion, that he was speaking for the senior portion of the Cabal, meanwhile the radical neocons in the DOD had already taken over. There is some realignment going on now behind the scenes. All the public sees is a lockstep GOP and preparation for worldwide hostilities. The seniors now seem to accept that, and are preparing to profit from it, judging from their silence on the matter, and reports of their travels in support of oil deals in Turkmenestan etc.
