Clark will not be the nominee, but will be the Veep.
Like Dean, even if he picks up tremendous grass roots support, he cannot overcome the fact is he a politial newcomer and outsider without any party ties. The party controls the game, not the voters, unless they come out in overwhelming fashion. (example, Feinstein endorsing Kerry today, a huge event worth dozens of delegates)

Also, Clark has not stated his policies on a single domestic issue. He is like Arnold in this respect. Glad to have him in the race though.
