You are living with old criticisms. India has been making rapid progress in the last decade. You can see it on the faces of the new generation! Go visit sometime.

Well said Arun!! just been back from a 1 week trip to Bombay (oops Mumbai), and its very different in a positive way, to the city I used to live in.

Well that would be good, if my perceptions (I've admitted I've never been there) are wrong. And, you are right, most of the news (of India, of anywhere) is about the things going wrong, not the things going right.
