No question about it.

One thing has been clear and getting more obvious is that the US drawing hatred from Arab world and losing its moral leadership in the international stage is largely due to its Middle East policy in the last several decades. And the change of the policy is not in sight yet.

Hypocrisy?

Actually, seems pretty consistent. US administration upset that French won't enforce prior UN resolutions no matter what re Iraq. US vetoes resolution that fails to condemn cowardly attacks by Hamas, et als. French don't care about the terrorism angle.
