Good read. IMO Clark may be a little too aggressive to make a good president.

The problem for Clark is that he is a Genius, by all accounts. He was able to handle that within the Military and make it to the top. The last one who did that was MacArthur. They like the "Good Old Boys," as one General said. Smart, but not too smart.

The Military "maze" he came up through makes him very arrogant. He is going to have difficulty hiding it. MacArthur couldn't do it.

Ike was smart, but not too smart. And very good at hiding the arrogance.

I knew Clark was going to get in when Chris Lehane resigned from the Kerry campaign the other day. Watch for him to sign on.

He's a lousy military tactician. He was all over TV in the opening days of the Iraq war, wringing his hands. Don't know if he actually said 'quagmire,' but he certainly implied it.

Any GI will tell you anyone above Colonel is nothing but a politician.
