No. The "diversionary subplot" I was referring to is the incident involving the arrest of Israeli tourists-turned-movers in New Jersey --if I remember correctly, they were about eleven... Why didn't the FBI and the Justice Dept keep the whole affair "classified"??? Such an incident involving Israeli citizens rejoicing and taking pictures of themselves in front of the burning WTC Twin Towers was embarrassing enough to be kept secret, wasn't it? My hunch is that there was one guy inside US counterintelligence who might have been able to disrupt the whole 911 plot: that guy was FBI agent Robert Hanssen. Hanssen was a Russian/Soviet expert who spent his whole career dealing with KGB, FSB and Russian spooks... Hence his invaluable contacts within Russian intelligence would have allowed him to smell the 911 rat before it was too late. Hanssen was betrayed in January 2001 by the FSB and Judeofascist FBI agents --after all, Hanssen was an "ugly Papist"... allegedly belonging to Opus Dei, a shadowy arch-Catholic outfit. Anyway, you don't work in counterintelligence for 20 years without, now and then, crossing the line... Hanssen, for the sake of his country, somehow had to give his KGB/FSB contacts some goodies IN EXCHANGE of Russian nuggets! So, my point is that FBI agent Hanssen was not a Judeo-Protestant freak and therefore constituted a "liability" that might wreck the whole 911 plot --he got duly discarded in February 2001 and the FBI itself got destabilized in the process (Freeh left a coupla months later).
