With your narrow perspective all you can do is focus on Castro. You're missing the larger view of why and how he came to power. And why he continues to hold power.

As I have said dozens of times on this thread, I don't support Castro. I do however understand him.

As for his net worth, it seems you are the expert in this regard. I do not know of it.

Cuba is the way it is due to failed US foreign policy. The Soviets took advantage of our bumbling with Cuba. Simple as that.

Had we done the same things with Cuba as we have with China, the relationship between Washington and Havana could have been vastly different today. Communism may have already been out in Cuba. Instead we have chosen badly our tactics with Cuba. A failed military operation only added fervor to the revolution led by Castro.
