Yes, where reasonable.......and reasonable is underlined. Why do you disagree?

Granted I missed that, however terrorist groups are rarely reasonable. I doubt Israel will destroy itself to placate the terrorists.


I think the Palestinians may make some unreasonable demands but I suspect what will make them happy is a free Palestine. As an independent nation, they would have more at stake and be less prone to violence. However, the current gov't of Israel does not want an independent Palestine.

I'd like to see Israel shrink to their UN specified borders and pledge to stop their side of the violence. They could then make it clear that if the attacks don't stop, the gloves would come all the way off.

I don't think Israel wants to do that. Its not talked about much but the West Bank is sitting on a huge aquifer of water.........and Israel is short of water.

Targeting Arafat is probably not the way to go though. That will just tick them off more.

Did you hear that one of Sharon's cabinet ministers said on national tv that it was time to assassinate Arafat? The uproar over that one was huge. Sharon is turning Arafat into a martyr and he's not even dead.
