FWIW, Lehman on tonight's BTB:

Semiconductor Capital Equipment Edward C. White, Jr.,CFA
Data Points Underscore The Recovery Sector: 1-Positive
Data points and anecdotal evidence on the semiconductor equipment ihdustry continue to point to
a robust 2004 recovery.
About 77% of the new chip manufacturing capacity planned for the 2004-2006 timeframe is 300mm
equipment. The long awaited 300mm wave is finally here, and we think it could lead to an era of higher
equipment pricing than the industry has seen in recent years
Data on chip manufacturers' 2004 spending plans is emerging, and the outlook thus far is good, calling for
30%+ growth over a depressed 2003 level.
SEMI's book-to-bill ratio is due to be published today. We expect a ratio of 0.99, but it could reach 1.00 or
slightly higher. This is normally difficult for the industry to achieve during the seasonally weak Summer.

Our conviction on the opportunities for growth in the industry in the 2004-2006 timeframe remains high,
and we are maintaining our 1-Positive Sector View.

You're welcome. I wish we had a good search engine here to find the old posts. I try to save the important ones where I can search but my time is limited and I only get a few. I thought I had more of Kurlak's stuff posted on my site but we often have issues with servers not working well together for a full search.
