Cheney is still helping Halliburton with such endeavors as their asbestos lawsuit, That liability was caused by Cheney, in fact with his aquisition of Dresser Cheney lost Halliburton great sums of money. There is no way that these payments are for past performance, that was abysmal,, they are payment for Cheney's role in creating enough destruction in Iraq for Halliburton to make good on it's no-bid cost-plus reconstruction.
