Scott, I haven't, but now I will. You ever read Hiassen? He's a columnist for the Miami Herald by day, and a very funny/quirky novelist in his spare time. Tourist Season, Double Whammy, Skin Tight, Native Tongue, Lucky You, all are great reads with at least one goofy/quirky character that stands out. Not many writers make me laugh out loud when I'm alone, but Hiassen usually pulls it off. The only lousy book he's written (IMO) is Strip Tease, which naturally is the one from which a movie was made. Check him out. jpg
