The Boy Scouts of America have been refused funding by the United Way unless they conform to demands to allow gays lead troops. Many cities, that for years allowed the Boy Scouts to use city facilities when unused, have kicked the Boy Scouts out of these facilities. Ann Arbor, Michigan, city council, among others, threatened to remove the United Way from their employee donor list if they contributed to the Scouts. The United Way gave in and removed the Scouts from their assistance list, and this is happening throughout the country. There is a concerted effort throughout the US to destroy the Boy Scouts because of their stand. The Girl Scouts capitulated instead of standing up fo their beliefs and are allowing lesbians to lead their troops. I can take or leave the homosexual crowd, but I will not contribute to those 'charities' that buckle to blackmail and extortion. I have donated directly to the Boy Scouts. The United Way will not get their 'piece of flesh' from me ever again. There is great doubt the Boy Scouts, one of the most wonderful organizations ever developed, will survive. Ken
