Oh, I've been through one on the Gulf. We were surfing on the huge waves thinking it was going to TX when instead it had made a sharp turn and was heading straight for us. The roof on the place we were staying kept raising up and we could see the outside, and the waves were breaking on the house during the worst of it.

Ok...so you know. Andrew leveled Homestead...and until it hit, no one knew exactly where the local destruction would take place. It turned out to be Homestead...up the coast in FtLauderdale (less than 50 miles up) basically no damage.

Oh I know about Andrew. I thought that one was a category four storm. I will check.......yeah it was a category 4. There's a big difference between that and a category two plus FLA is so flat and Andrew spawned several tornadoes.

You have nothing to worry about........in fact, you might as well do a reroof while you're waiting. <g>

Has it started to cloud up yet?
