we would only hurt ourselves in the process While it might hurt both the United States and Iraq as a whole, it would be quite profitable to Cheney and his oil buddies who have arrangements with Kuwait. That's true. We often wonder here in the States what the hell Cheney does for a living. God knows, he's never around! Do you think he may still be CEO of HAL? <g> It would explain why Cheney is willing to risk failure in Iraq rather than let the U.N. have any role that is not tightly controlled. Yeah......I've tried to understand what they are so afraid of.......they mumble some stuff about the UN taking our sovereignty. Nonetheless, I would be very surprised if you are right but it would fit with the way things have been going.
