I think the important thing for me here is that whether the Iraqi people want the help to free themselves from Saddam. If they do not want the help, and continue to cooperate with those who continue to kill US soldiers...

IMO, the problem is that no concrete timetable has been outlined for the Iraqi people. If a timetable was laid out for them, they could live up to it. They are Arabs after all.

Also, they are concerned that American forces will still be in Iraq 50 years from now, just as they are in Germany and Japan etc.
