Victor, Let me ask you something. God forbid if something of magnitude of 9-11 happens in near future (3 year time frame)... will you hold junior responsible ? or will it still be Clinton's fault :-) Also what the heck were you (or Congressmen and other Republicans) doing during Clinton years in not raising "serious" red flags about impending disaster. What was John Warner doing ? He was in the Senate Armed Intelligence committee and had access to the intelligence. What was John McCain doing? What was George W Bush doing at that time. Oh I forget ... he did not know that there was a land known as Afghanistan. IMO, what we are seeing is a slow evolution of terrorism to which Americans in general have not made themselves intimately familiar with over last 2 decades. Even now, people seem to be more interested with watching reality shows than with world affairs. A phenomenon that I blame many institutions encompassing wide ranging political spectrum. I give credit for the creation of Homeland Security department and I think it's profile should be raised much more and should be funded appropriately.
