i guess the billions in elite rich tax decreases isn't going toward expensive autos...

it isn't going into production capacity - a really dumb idea in an overcapacity environment.

bush's main sales point for the tax cut has been exposed as a lie. effectively, the tax cut benefited the elite rich's bank accounts and that's about it.

the car mfrs have burnt $100s of millions developing cars they'll never sell.
