Yes it is amazing indeed. They have drawn the inference to Al Qaeda all along the way, from the SOTU to every press conference. Now they are clarifying, that there is no 9-11 connection, but they maintain that there were Al Qaeda connections. Even this assertion is poo pooed by intelligence officers that know better. If you want to find Al Qaeda you'd be better off looking in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Iran, where fundamentalist Islam is flourishing. I find it interesting that we attacked the country in the middle east that likely had the least Al Qaeda ties. Orca
