Americans will want someone experienced to lead us OUT of Iraq. Doesn't matter if it's a mess, Americans want strong military leadership either way. And don't forget the other threats in the world. This is no time for a novice.

Dean would suffer a Dukakis like defeat at the hands of the Bush machine. Even Dean sympathizers I've spoken to are stunned Dean said "Hamas are soldiers". They know what that means. Obviously, it means Dean can only run as a peacenik, which means he'd lose. Make no mistake, Clark entered the race to make sure that Dean doesn't win. Tha strategy will work.
