Better late than never. I'll never again be without either an external hard drive or a second drive in a main computer designed solely for backup. At least not until something even newer and better comes along!

I still remember when backing a hard drive up to 8 inch floppy disks was state of the art. I still have boxes of ancient floppies around holding back-ups of computers that have long gone to the computer hereafter. I doubt I could even buy an 8" floppy drive today, but I still have trouble bringing myself to toss those disks.
