Unless your friends are right-wing fascists or Zionists, then they will not be critical of the US, but you will be. I have the same problem here, in fact, I don't discuss world affairs with anyone around the place any more because it soon becomes very unpleasant. In fact, when I tell people what I really believe some think I'm mad.

That's a joke when all your leaders think about is who to hit next with cluster bombs and daisy cutters. Or maybe they're planning another 9-11-style attack on the US in order to blame some "new" terrorists.
