no I'm not, I am bullish, providing we get some leadership in the WH to deal with some long term trends- right now we don't have that but maybe it will come.

We need to restructure the tax code so that US workers aren't penalized with SS, we need to forget that senior drug entitlement and instead open up drug prices to Canada and other free markets. We need to close the borders just a little to protect our workforce and IP. In other words, if Ciena wants to outsource an optical networking project to Wipro and wipro delivers, we need to allow that. But what we shouldn't allow is for Ciena to offshore a task, and the foreign teams have no idea to do it, so they come here on a temp visa for a month, LEARN how to do it and go offshore and produce. This is counterproductive to US competitiveness we need to shut it off.

The Bush economic team doesn't seem to have a clue.
