When you have no future, suicide embodies a form of rationality. The Japanese had no future in defeat. Neither do young Palestinians. Their own leadership can claim a large measure of credit -- but Israel deserves a loud round of "applause" as well. So long as they have no future, there will be no peace. There is no military solution to this problem.

the young Japanese pilots were heavy into "the Code of Warrior Values", "Bushido"....the bible for the good "Samurai Warrior"
it was a "Mind set" if you will, an Honor to be remembered by your fellow Samurai Warriors as a measure of your personal dedication..........and the promise of a better life thru reincarnation.

Despair had nothing to do with it.....just the opposite in fact.

Again "Cause and effect"
