You can use XP-AntiSpy to uninstall Messenger completely, or just disable autostart. You do NOT need to install XP-AntiSpy, just open it.

--OT-- kollmhn, hello For those embedded cookies, the ones that track your internet usage and pass the information back, get the AdAware freeware from LavaSoft. You can always upgrade to the "pay fer" version. This utility identifies these "data miners" and removes them from your machine. I usually get around a dozen or so per week. The utility only runs a scan when the program is run, although I think the "pay fer" version might sit in the background and do it automatically. Regards to all, Aggie
