I have two in line surge suppressors. Right now it just some gusting out there. I don't expect the power to go off unless there's a hit on a power station and the whole area shuts down. The power lines in my community are buried so a power loss is rare. Nor do I expect the roof to fall in. But if I disappear, yes, you can assume it's Isabel.

Having survived lots of hurricanes including a category five, I tend to be blase. I checked to make sure my Y2K lantern had working batteries and I still have some tap water I bottled three years ago under the sink. With the mice. So I'm as prepared as I need to be, I think.

Thanks for the well wishes.
