Well, its pretty clear that: If there was no Saddam, there would never have been a 9-11. Saddam, as much as anyone, created the conditions, that led to OBL's declaration of war against the USA.

I have another take on this and that is that these polls are wrong. I don't know a sole who thinks Saddam was involved in 911, nobody on the talk radio where I listen for weather thinks Saddam was involved in 911, nobody on the internet thinks Saddam was involved in 911 so where is this cr@p coming from? I think it is flat out wrong or lying with statistics in terms of polling questions, something like... "Do you consider SH to be a terrorist" and "was 911 engineered by few or many terrorists" => Saddam was involved with 911. Something like that.
