Bush, as the president, is responsible for the state of the union. And if within his term there is a net job loss where there essentially has never been one before, he is responsible for it.

The last BLS numbers I looked at, showed WAGES at early 90 levels. I concur with that, wages are way down. This is because the high wage jobs were technical/engineering positions and these have been pummelled with offshoring. But for whatever reason wages are way down. So, no sense blaming the Clinton and the bubble. Which is becoming an extremely tired excuse anyway.

Bush has a problem relating to the upwardly mobile educated professionals class. He screwed the technology industry, he gave away tax cuts that only matter to the smokestacks. My group (which are the type of investors that post on SI) is completely disenfranchised under Bush. He is gone in 04 imo.
