Interesting read and fascinating point of view...thanks for positng it. I'd always thought that the reason we went into Iraq was to prevent Saddam from moving to Euros from the US dollar. Without petroleum backing the US dollar, the US loses economic leverage.

And, anytime the world become increasingly unstable, gold has always gone up. His productivity assumptions seem to be primarily around a manufacturing economy versus a service/information based economy.

I did subscribe to his newsletter.

In the meantime, I am hiding under my bed with a pillow over my head.
