You are right, and I'll add that if folks on the left want to cry about countries we don't fix, it's as if they'd be happier if we took care of them all indeed, instead of just Iraq and Afghanistan and... . Hence, I scratch my head since handling Iraq alone, they say, has spread us too thin to capture Bin Laden. Its inconsistent to argue both, really. But if both arguments are well twisted up to Brush Bush Black, what do they care of logic? They just don't want war, don't want to bother with intervening, really, in any of these places, and don't believe the consequences of not acting would be bad. They are just wrong, as most Americans would agree.

So, where are the Iraqi supported terrorists, and when did they attack the United States? Bush et al acknowledge no link to Al Qaeda, and offer no evidence of terrorist threats from Iraq.

The natural extension of the latest 'justification' for the Iraqi invasion, to free the Iraqi people from a despot, is exactly what I said.

Iraq is central to the war on terrorism. That you are too dumb to see that is your problem. If you are not too dumb, then you are just supporting Saddam.

First off, Iraq is not connected to Al Qaeda, and has not supported a group that has made terrorist attacks on the US. Secondly, invading Iraq has caused us to divert valuable resources from the REAL enemy: Al Qaeda - and allowed them to regroup for a possible future attack. Thirdly, if we were really targeting countries that support the 9/11 killers, we'd be in Riyadh, not Baghdad.

Finally, assuming that I'm either too dumb or support Saddam is typical of the New Conservative Media. Someday, you'll pull the pinups of Coulter and McCarthy off your wall and come to your senses. Maybe.
