Chris, I am sorry that you have been unable, or unwilling to follow the logic of the masseur's position. That's because his position keeps changing. At first it was refusal to treat any women on religious grounds. Then it expanded to any homosexual. Then it changed to reasonable possibility of sexually inappropriate conduct, but still assumed without any evidence whatsoever that every single woman in the world and every single homosexual in the world would be reasonably expected to respond in a sexually inappropriate manner. The problem for you, I think, is that I DO understand the masseur's position. He's a bigot, plain and simple.
