They said there was a link between al Qaeda and Iraq, but that no link could be found - specific to the 9/11 attack. re:"Hmm, well, then why did Bush, Rice, et al come out and say that there was no proof of a link?" I never understood the big deal about "yellow cake uranium" from Niger - as it was already in Iraq.
