Imagine you are living in an area in which you are a lone minority. You are surrounded by people of another race or religion. You'd like to be able to raise your family and get along. However, every day, as you go to your destination, you pass by neighbors for miles yelling for you to leave the neighborhood. These people call your religion or race vile names and you often see them conspiring together and pointing fingers. One day, one of the neighbors brandishes a weapon while you are walking with your daughter. You live in a land where calling the local police does not give relief as most use the job to get rich or are servants of the regime. You choice now - run - leave - move to a friendly land or try to protect yourself and your family. You're smart, you know how to use weapons, you know martial arts. The second time a weapon is brandished and cocked, you use your training to disarm the individual, but unfortunately, he suffers a broken arm. Again, let's forget about niceties like police and trials. The next week a couple of cousins of the guy with the broken arm sneak into your house and you are forced to shoot in defense. Now the families of the deceased say you shouldn't be there in the first place. Just because this house has been in your family for as long as they have lived there, they say, is not a good argument. They want your house for another family member and have told you this over and over. You don't want to leave. You like your family house, despite the problems You look throughout your travels and see enormous numbers of houses vacant in the neighborhood. There are plenty of homes available for your neighbor's family member. I don't do lattes. I'll leave that to those in the Parisian cafes, who look down their snouts and prepare elogquent solutions to problems without dirtying their hands giving assistance.
