Chappy is over the top, but how is Coulter's column worse? Are you referring to the column in which she calls Pinch a traitor?

I doubt anyone listens to Kennedy anymore other than the folks who still love him... for better or worse and mostly worse.. These comments show how some will go to try to regain power in Washington.. It has nothing to do with Iraq..He is pissed because he sees all this money going to defense of our nation vs Education (where in his own state after millions of dollars the teachers cannot pass a basic English test)and other social programs.

Re Coulter, Teddy and language: Teddy has long been over the age...since the Chappaquadick incident where he was driving, car went into the water, he left her there, went home for several hours, and then told police. She had died, but as I recall, not right away.

To me, that incident was obscene.

You mentioned you wouldn't post Ann Coulter today, because of language. So of course, I (and probably several of us) had to check it out. Yes, she did call someone a traitor. Who is really to know now, LB? How many people are being killed every day because of things that have been said in the press? Will we ever know?

How many Iraqi's were killed by Hussein because Eason Jordan decided not to tell for over 12 years! what CNN knew about the regime?

>>>>>>>>>When Gen. Pinochet staged his coup against a Marxist strongman, the U.S. did not stop him – as if Latin American generals were incapable of doing coups on their own. And – I quote – "It was Sept. 11." Parsed to its essentials, the Times' position is: We deserved it.

This from a paper that has become America's leading spokesman for the deposed Baathist regime in Iraq. Interestingly, we started to lose this war only after the embedded reporters pulled out. Back when we got the news directly from Iraq, there was victory and optimism. Now that the news is filtered through the mainstream media here in America, all we hear is death and destruction and quagmire – along with obsessive references to the date on which Bush declared an end to major combat operations. <<<<<<<<<<<
