No worries, no offense taken whatsoever!
You need to consider the history of this property to understand why the NR was more than justified and likely welcommed by DDN / CMD shareholders. This explains it:

"Kidme which is strategically located immediately south of Mountain Province/De Beers Kennady Lake property. Due to an ownership dispute since 1996, virtually no exploration has been conducted on the property. In May, 2003, a federal tribunal awarded the Kidme project to Diamonds North 40 per cent and SouthernEra 60 per cent."

If DDN and CMD can be accused of one thing, then it's their low key approach to promotion. Maybe they are finally listening to what shareholders have asked for for many years.

Cheers,
kidl

S&P, you ask a good question, RE:" how do you evaluate diamond explorers?"

There are many factors that can be compared, but I informally compare market cap vs. project potential.

WHen it comes to project potential, interpretation of cautic fusion results and diamond distribution character, geology, etc. is required. This is where Will Purcell comes in for me. I get enought interpretation from his releases that I've done a good job at separating the wheat from the chaf, to use Wills words.

Its a shame there isn't more discussions on stockwatch. WIll is always receptive to an intelligent discusion over there. During the winspear days, stock watch was the place to tune in.
I just dug up this post by TV from the old SI "Willp speaks" thread:

Thanks for the various responses to my enquiries about how to value a diamond stock. Sorry about not replying earlier but I was tied up for a few days.

Very helpful advice -- even if I did take a hit today on SRM! My reaction was to buy some more. :^)

Thanks again,
Howy
