That's the plan.

Look, everybody knows there is very little appeal for a U.S. General in the dem party. Clark has no base there and cannot possibly win the nomination, even though he might have wider appeal outside the dem party. He's nothing more than a way to split the Kerry vote so that Hillary can have clear sailing. The one thing the Hillary camp didn't bank on was this growing momentum for Dean. It'll be interesting to see how she deals with it in light of the fact that it's her own base, i.e. hardline socialist peacenik radical environmentalists, that Dean is wooing.

Clark will join Hillary's ticket to soften her edge with patriotic moderates.
