Genius, I asked you to show me statistics that support your contention that large numbers of jobs are being eliminated here only to be moved offshore.

As for the jobs statistics, non-farm payroll numbers (seasonally adjusted) show 437k jobs lost since year end. I'll chalk your error up to faulty rounding. It's also worth noting that total private employment fell by a bit less - 338k.

But most importantly, as you may have heard, there is currently a dispute among economists over the reliability of employment statistics, particularly over the differences between numbers derived from employer surveys and household surveys, the latter of which actually shows job creation, not job losses. The suspected reason is that the employer survey numbers leave out self-employed and most small businesses.

According to current population survey numbers, the total number of people employed in civilian jobs in the US rose by 1.19 million since year end.

So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.
