He cant. He has to stay somewhat in the middle or will lose independents and soccer moms. He has to trade pork for support as well. Anything that it takes to win the war on terror. As i said earlier, during ww2 deficits were 150% of gdp. The world did not end. I think we have a few months of binging left. We must have results to show for it. Economic growth will take out some of the defecit as tax collections go up on income and heaven forbid, cap gains. We can grow our way out of part of it. Mike
