From kicking around the political threads over the years, Bill, I have found certain words are so offensive as to be called "Fighting words." Traitor and antiamerican are among them. They generate nothing but heat here, and give no light. I don't want them used for that reason.

As we get into this election, It will be very hard to hold this thread together. I hope we can keep both sides posting here in a civil manner. So I will kick anybody off the thread who starts personal attacks or gets vituperative.

I do believe there is a faction within the dem party that is inherently antiAmerican. Call it what you like, but I see nothing wrong with using frank language.

Depends on whether you think this thread is a good thing or not. If you dislike it and wish to destroy it, you'll do as you suggest. The thread will immediately go to 24/7 on that topic and none other. Bill will have to give up dancing to monitor the thread.
