Cancun may be viewed as a turning point in WTO history. Democracy NOW! provided some dramatic footage of the protestors tearing down a section of the elaborate fences keeping the public away from the meetings, as the G-22 nations voted down the latest round of agreements. The multinational corporations are finally getting some effective opposition, and the general public is becoming marginally aware of the charade the corporados are attempting to perpetrate.
