Hi Yogi, I believe though that the effects of globalisation will be the thing that makes it different this time. I'm not of the mind tha the US is going to fall off a cliff but rather the ongoing shifting sands of wealth re-distribution will mean a smaller slice for the of the pie for the west. Secondly learning another language gives you the opportunity to understand people you are dealing with to a much better degree. I hope not too many learn another language. It puts those that do in a more favourable position. It's very interesting dealing with folk that do not realise you can speak their lingo... All MHO but experience is my guide.. regards Kastel
