Don't look to me to argue that one.

I will, however, add that paternalism is a less acute form of bigotry and I think that's what we're dealing with as regards women. And I think that fear as a motivation is more sympathetic than other bases, although, of course, the effects are the same. Fear may be somewhat mitigating, as Neo would say.

Is there any difference here?

None that I'm aware of.
