Ild: All that borrowing by the beloved "consumer" must have "Big Al" happy....... but I wonder if he doesn't worry just a mite with respect to their shrinking numbers? Can he force feed the remaining consumers (i.e., the ones that haven't yet received a pink slip) even greater loans, just to maintain consumer spending at current rates (which, by the way, sure isn't doing much for long-overdue "second half rebound")?
